Studio Visit / Previews: Yoskay Yamamoto @ Roq La Rue
Earlier this summer, AM stopped by Yoskay Yamamoto’s (interviewed) Downtown LA studio to catch up with the ever busy artist. We gave you a glimpse of the time we spent there previously when we caught the man neck deep in preparation for his show at Roq La Rue.
With the exhibition coming up this weekend, we thought it would be an excellent time to give you the entire studio visit / preview images for this new body of work consisting of paintings on paper (we also heard that there’ll be some of his wood sculptures too!). Note the intricate details in the fine drawings which laid the foundation for a substantial showing when the completed pieces are unveiled this Friday in Seattle.
